    OBX Gravitation Control Coilovers

    Well I ordered them last night, paid $132 shipped. Those with the OBX coilovers did yuo cut the bumpstops ? i keep hearing its good its bad, I just want to eliminate the wheel gap. Not going to slam the car at all maybe once to see how it looks but won't drive it like that.

    just pay attention to what bottom's out. If you are bottoming on bumpstops then you need to trim them.

    The installation instructions I got with my Progress springs told me to cut the bump stops, so I did. The drop up front is 2.25" and I have only hit the bump stops once. I was hauling ass down an exit ramp and hit a huge bump in the road. Basically, if you are planning a 2" drop up front, definitely cut the bump stops in half. In the rear, I don't think it really matters too much, but it wouldn't hurt to cut the bump stops just incase.
