I think this wasn't really a good price, but I had to go this way. I really wanted a GTZ, or at least a V6. I still have a hard time to believe, but it was really hard to find one. So I was pretty much screwed when I've seen this one

I might add I'd never go back to that dealership. Within one day, while "cleaning" the car somebody, somehow put hundreds of miles on it (wtf?)
Then they told me they pull out a dent, and buff the car. They didn't. They didn't even clean it...
That's a nice ride though, I will probably end up spending around there when i'm done. Price is a does look a little high

wow i don't even know how much i've spent on mods... over the last 3 years i'd guess over $10,000.
shit. how time flies... bought the car for about $27,000... coming up on about $60,000 total now 7 years later (about $13,000-$15,000 in the last 2 years)!
are you kidding me? dude no offense or anything....lol

galants are nice cars but 60k?!?! you could have gotten a porsche boxter or Audi S4 or G35, 350Z, RX-8...with plenty of money to mod...!!!

you know what...fuck those cars...SUPRA TT!
haha don't worry, i'm buying an slk55 or a big fat SUV (or both) after i buy my new house (sold my old one last year), i just don't have enough garage space right now for more cars. the galant is my "toy". i allready know how stupid it is to spend this kind of money on this kind of car but i got over that and just went for it. don't worry about my spending tho... my priorities are straight and everything else is taken care of first. this is just my hobby money.
Well thats good to know...i would have been kinda worried if you were spending your childrens grocery money on mods haha...so if you're so loaded...how about sending me a little green?

haha. no kids that i know of. and as far as sending you money, my top sales guys are very happy, but they all have 5+ years of internet advertising sales experience and acquire multiple 6 figure contracts for me... if you can do that i would b glad to cut you a check; but as far as charity goes, i am allready at the upper limit of my allowable tax write offs as it is, so sorry.

We picked up my 2001 ES in 2002 for $8,000, 24k miles on the car.

Since then I have put about $10,000-12,000 into the car total.

Around 60k miles as of today.

03 ES I4 for $7000 before tax and everything, in Oct 2005. 40k miles on the odo.

But after tax and everything, stupid screwups (like the compressor and clutch, and window regulator), new springs and shocks, etc, total I spent approaching $10k.

Not to forget, the incredible amount of elbow grease required to keep it shiny in upstate NY in winter! (Washing the car by hand at freezing temperature, duh.) I'm so glad spring is here. Time for serious detailing. I am just waiting for the fresh polishing supplies to come in the mail.
