8g's have lots more aftermarket products.
Im also a noobie so thats all i know
LOL
Are the 7th Gen Good pros and cons? would you guys perfer the 8th? how about after market parts? which one has more? and most of all does the 7th gen have a bad tranny? Thanks! any info would help. thanks.
7g has more potential seeing how the usdm 4g63t and a lot of tis parts work. 8gs have rip and evo 4-8 engines, just more work needs to be done.
2g 5spd trannies work in 7gs, 3g 5spd trannies work in 8gs.
I guess its comes down to style, but if you ask me, id take a 7g over a 8g in a heartbeat
7g for life!

Is that True? Also the according to Edunds that the v6 has a slower 0-60 time then the es. ?
wait is the 7th tranny bad? Why i do keep reading that people wanting to switch out?
the 7g is lighter than the 8g, the 7g trannies arent bad persay, but they do have a high failure , i had about 3 transmissions in my 7g, last and final one was a 2g eclipse Turbo transmission and that ran the best
IMO the 7g is ya racer wit mods. and the 8g are str8 show cars (except the s/c v6 which is both)
YES I STILL HAVE MY GALANT!!
what So the 7th gen Auto tranny is bad? or the manuel?
