Help with Foglights mod

Ok, I've seen quite a few topics on modifying the foglights to turn on with the parking lights. Now the one that seems easiest for me would be the one done by wmaharrisjr. I'm still kinda hesitant to do it seeing that I just fried my ipod trying to hook up an accessory socket, so I dont want to take any chances unless I'm certain of what I'm doing.

Now what I'm trying to figure out is this step.

3. This step may differ depending on which method you use. I personally chose using the wire butts so I will explain that method FIRST
WIREBUTT: First I cut the wire for the parking light and the fog
light in the middle so i had room to work on either end. I then
stripped the end of all 4 of my newly formed wires. I then twisted
the parking and the fog wire coming of the relay together and
twisted them together I then used a butt connector to crimp the 2
ends together.

Could someone who did this mod elaborate a little or post some pics. What I'm trying to figure out is how do you connect the 4 ends of the wires.

you take the ends, roll em around together and throw some electrical tape around them. you're making it harder than it really is.

Do you just connect all 4 ends together?

Thanks. I just got finished doing it. I had to use an extra piece of wire to connect the 2 sets of wire because they were too short. But I got it working. Thanks for the help guys.
