    intake mainfold cracked! need help

the S.O.B. cracked the entire way around, just after the throdle cable. so can i have it welded for now? or does the whole thing have to be replaced?

When you called me I thought you said the cable itself busted. Seeing that damage, I would have to say replace it.

looks like to me you hsould take off some of your mods and work your way to the dealer.

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.

Definitely needs replaced, not worth welding. Shouldnt cost that much for a used intake manifold from the yard. That thing looks like it is plastic though haha. Ahh the quality of Mitsu

If its under warranty it will be free. If you go to a yard probably $50-75...

if you make a warranty claim, make sure to put your stock air box back on so they don't give you any shit.
as smooth a talker as i can be, they always give me shit when i take a car in for warranty work.
    good luck.

If you take it to Peoples they might not give you a hard time, I never had a problem there to get warranty stuff fixed, and I went in there with a supercharger.

    thats a good idea.
i always take my warranty work to the dealer. and they always give me shit. probably because they don't make shit off warranty work. which makes me feel better about taking it to them cause i used to work there and i'll do anything to spite them.

What you do is call them. Get their name and say, I have headers, intake ect, and this cracked, is this covered under warranty, if they say no be3cause of the mods, then you replace it, if they say not a big deal, bring it in. Thats what I did.

Mitsu quality sucks. Thats already happened to me twice. We should see if we can get a recall on the manifold.
