now you see, thats a commendable usage for a zip tie. you have an oil cooler because of the need for your oil to be cool to prevent the risk of something breaking because your turboed. My oil cooler is zip tied in place. I guess Im a sicko too. BUT I LOVE TEH ZIPTIES!
but neons suck when installed properly, let alone hanging by a ziptie.
what, should i drill into my raidaitor?
no, you should take that neon out and burn it. what are you illuminating? your sub par engine bay that houses a weak 4 cylinder motor? and if your looking for style points, im pretty sure the zipties will negate any points youll get with the neon itself.what, should i drill into my raidaitor?
At least then you could be somewhat cool and show us your melted engine. :?Originally Posted by krispy03

where did you ziptie it? mines is bolted right in front of the wheel well. all my vacuum lines are zip-tied thoughOriginally Posted by seth98esT
there is an unused flange spot welded in place vertically in the bumper cavity in front of the drivers fender well. its kind of at an angle, so i made a triangular bracket to mount my oil cooler square.
its rather convienient because the flange has a bunch of holes in it already. i zip tied all my boost lines too, except ones big enough to clamp.
i'm thinking about molding a fiberglass duct to channel air from the stock bumper inlet through the oil cooler.
