Loud banging sound with Eibach springs and new stock shocks

I recently replaced my worn shocks with New stock shocks and decieded to also replace my springs with 4 new Pro Line Eibach springs.

The car lowered beautifully, but now when ever I drive over a bump I hear a loud banging sound in the rear of the car.
If the bump is driven over with passengers in the car, the shit sounds like the car is about to break.

I currently have Factory Steel wheels from a 2003 Galant size 16".
I removed the tires to see if there was any damage but all I was able to see was a small scrape on the wall where the tire is placed.

sounds like maybe you're hitting the bumpstop (or lack of one for some reason). Take it back to the shop that did the work, if they're a decent place they should stand behind their work and take care of you.

Did they remove the stock bumpstops or cut them per the spring installation directions?

did you make sure that all the nuts and bolts are torqued corectly. i had a similar problem in the front when i first installed my springs and that went away when i retorqued everything.

I had that same problem and it was the same side. The rear passenger side. It turned out to be the rubber boot. It was completely ripped, so every time I went over a bump, the spring would hit on the strut mount and make a clanking sound. I had to get another boot and that solved the problem.
