removing tail lights, spoiler light

This is probably simple, but I figured I'd post this so when time comes I won't run into problems. I have a 01 GTZ. I'm looking to remove the tail lights and the spoiler light to spray them with VHT NiteShade. How do I go about this process?

the tails are bolted onto the body. peel back the carpet and you'll see the mounting studs and the nuts that hold them to the car.

and for the spoiler, i believe there are screws on the underside

I don't think you can take the spoiler light off. I sprayed mine with Nite Shades, but I did it before I installed the spoiler, and the light was not yet attached. So, I sprayed the light, then stuck it onto the spoiler. What you'll probably have to do is mask off the spoiler and the car, then spray the light.

just make sure when ur putting them back on not to tighten the bolts too much or the metal stud will come out of the plastic housing, making that sport useless.
