Well, glad to see you got it in one piece and it's still a good looking kit 8)

Good luck with everything, it's nice to get away with a kit after an accident

    todays update
front bumper is painted and looks sick, but not installed
    rear and sides arent painted
argued a little bit over how long this is taking, told me into next week
came home started to wash the rental cause its too dirty was making me sick to drive but thats another story
got called by body shop, they are gonna have all painted by tomorrow and give it all to the kid to do it at the other shop cause he will work on it overnight. and I could have it back by the end of the weekend
now to the rental car. washed it and as I dried I noticed some motherf*&ker keyed the right side rear quarter panel, like 2 4 or 5 inch lines. I am hoping it was an accident, maybe someone squeezed past car and had keys hanging from their pants, I am gonna try and compound out
rental place said any scratches under 5 inches are considered wear and tear when I first got the car, hopefully I dont get charged extra for this shit

    news flash
car should be ready within the next hour or so. Was told they are putting the front bumper on and my strobe lights in the headlights. The headlights came out flush and perfect. He said the car looks mint. I just want to thank everyone for being patient on the forum with me and my venting and ranting and raving. I will have pics as soon as I am able to take them. I am either gonna run and get the car on my break tonight from work or get it in the am after work.
and yes the rental car place noticed the scratch real easily, but they said not to worry about it. They had me sign some forms and said their loss department will get in touch with me but not to worry about it

okay heres the deal right now. Got the car back this am and I have a few problems with it.
    A) filthy inside and out. fiberglass shavings all over carpet, dust everyone, including seats, and some dirt on the seats also.
airhorns were installed but not sounding
    C) city light in one of the jdms not working. I think it's just a bulb though
    D) AC not blowing as cold as it was
    E) car rpm @ idle, dips from 1G to like 500, used be steady round 750 or so
    F) right side of front bumper not as tight as left side
    G) the guy used a black glue to snug up the rear bumper where it wraps on the sides, and the glue is visable at the seam
    H) when side skirts were trimed down, paint was taken from area near door sill and down to bare metal
    I) hood has 2 small dents near front by grille area, hood doesn't lay completely flush
    J) the pieces that fit on the bottom of the back doors (triangle like) to make flow into sideskirts a little better were left in car and unpainted

I am bring the car to have this taken care of on Tuesday and will take some pics for you guys tomorrow in daylight

I am bring the car to have this taken care of on Tuesday and will take some pics for you guys tomorrow in daylight</div>as for the kit problems F). DON'T forget to make stabalizer bars for the underside. This ties the front bump together(structualy) and keeps it from shaking/flopping at high speeds..which in turn makes cracks/spiderwebbing. You should be able to run a few screws in top area of bump in the engine compartment to tighthen things down some. J) I don't think many ppl use those triangle things. mine didn't even have it. most of the stuff i noticed on your list is things that could of been taken care of. Its just they're in a *big* hurry at most shops. Its all about cranking out the cars. anyways don't worry, be patient and you will have it right to your liking. just take it back to them and stress the things you don't like. They should take care of it, if there a decent shop anyway. we can be patient for those pics just take care of the stuff buggin you 8)
