Interesting Engine Info 6g7x and 6a1x

I had an idea the other day and decided to do a little bit of research. In midst of it all I stumbled upon this little website. I don't know if it had been posted yet and I'm way too lazy to Search right now.

Back to that idea I had. I was curious if I could just bolt the Twin Turbo setup from a 6a13 (JDM engine) onto the USDM 6g72. I got that idea from this guy's nice looking build.

Does anybody have any knowledge on how my idea could or couldn't work? I know I don't have the money to even try it, but I know some of you do and are interested in playing around with new stuff. So there you go.

i suspect that in the same way the 4g64/4g63 are similiar block castings, the same might be for the 6 cyl. motors.
you might be able to use the manifolds/turbo but why go through that hassle? for the price of getting those parts imported, just get yourself a custom mani and turbo.

Good point. I didn't bother thinking of the prices, just thought it would be interesting to see someone try.

I dont think that would work since the 3g guys have done everything possible to get reliable turbo on a 6G72....
