J, blankman had one before and this was the description he had when he sold it

    [quote]Helix Power Tower TB Spacer - $30.00 <SOLD>
Yes, this is one of those spiral whatchimajigees that everyone pisses on. And while the 'swirl' or 'tornado' function may or may not be usless, I bought it to operate as a TB spacer - to cool intake air before the TB. In this capacity it worked great. Recent datalogs - run just before I removed it from the car - show an average intake temp of 73 deg. with the TB spacer installed and 80-85 deg. without. So, truth is, adding a 1" aluminum spacer between intake and TB does cool the air. <span style='color:red'>As far as how much HP it adds - or if it even does, I don't know. I do know response seemed quicker on those hot muggy days when my car would normally feel 'bogged' down. Oh yeah, at 75%+ throttle, it makes a cool high-pitched sound akin to a spool-up</span>

yeah if you want to cool your intake charge delete your FIAV and reroute your coolant lines. its practically free, and more effective at removing heat from your intake track

every 10 degrees cooler air = 1 hp. so using blankman's temps, you gain 1 hp
