    front sear removal problem

ok, first, I already did the seach without luck; so, I am trying to remove my front passanger seat, (to remove the Infinity amp, and install an equalizer) so I remove the two front nuts; and I just find out that the two back nuts, are actually not nuts, but headless bolts! now, how the hell do I loose these? am I supposed to grind them out, and then replase them? please anybody have done this before, please advise!

not sure what your looking at, but ALL mitsu seats have always been held in place with 4 attaching points. On the galant it should be 2 14mm nuts in the front, and 2 14mm bolts in the back.

you should look closer.. did you remove the small plastic covers on the end of each rail to uncover the bolts?

yes, I remove the plastic covers, all 4 of them, and I unbolt the front two nuts, but when I got to the back side, the are no nuts, instead are like some king of security headless bolt.

I guess they didn't want people in puerto rico to remove the seats, that some shit right there,, have you tried making an indent and use a plathead and hammer to atleast rotate it?

    that is NOT factory..
did you buy the car from a rental fleet or something?

those are anti-theft break off bolts. same things are used on the ignition switch assembly.

you'll need to chisle and/or drill them off.
