Transmission fluid????

I have a manual transmission 7G 1996. Just wandering where can I check the transmission fluid? You know like the automatic transmission they have their separate stick (ATF) to check. What about manual transmission? Where and how to check it?

theres a plug on the front of the transaxle that needs to be removed.
the fluid is supposed to be up to the bottom of the threads.

Yes there is a drain plug on the front lower section that says "oil" on it(at least mine did) and one right above it that is for the check/fill. Basically just fill it up untill fluid comes out the hole, then you know it is full.

could you guys provide me with a picture so it will be easy for me where to locate it? coz there is a rubber plug i saw that's keep leaking tranny fluid... don't know why. so, i'm afraid i'm probably low of tranny fluid.
