    Quick Question

    This probably is a dumb question...but I didnt want go doing something I shouldnt..> When people talk about painting the headlight housing and such things on the headlight, what exactly is being painted, or for that matter can be painted? And if it can be, what kind of paint/pre work should be done? I was thinking about an idea of making and painting some sort of stencil (of a mits. star) for the blinker so when it blinked you would see the star (mainly at night). Something on that idea...

    when they are painting the headlight housing, they are taking the headlamp apart, and painting the inside cover piece......usually grey or chrome stk

    sand it.....lightly and paint..... just no plastic paint

    and the mitsu star idea is good, but use a clear paint...... you can go to your local hobby shop, and pick up some translucent paint..... its like a colored clear
