    Autocross Tires

I need so tires for autocross. Some of the tires I was looking at are:
    Toyo Proxes T1R or T1S
    Dunlop SP Sport 9000
    BF Goodrich g-Force KDW
    Goodyear F1 GSD3
    Falken FK-452
or any other tires that anyone knows is good to autocross with.
The tires will only be used for only autocross and won't be driven on the street. Which set should i use? Thanks.

These are the best autocross tires, they're cheap, will last all season, and meet all SCCA requirements for solo2 street tire class.

I ran the old verson last season and they were awesome...you just need to monitor your air pressure through the day.

I got a full set for this season, shipped for under $500 (225/45zr17)

If you're driving these to the autox (rather than swapping on site) these are LOUD on the street...kinda like riding in a jeep with mudding tires on.

What size should I go with? I read in a magazine that 17s are best for overall performance, but my brother, said that 16s are better for autox. Since he's been doing it for 2 years now I was thinking of taking his word for it and buying the 16s, but I want a second opinion before I buy them.

I would go with a lightweight 16 or 17. You can get a set of Motegi forged Traklites that weigh 14lbs/wheel for descent pricing. I think its 10lbs/wheel for 15s. Obviosly the lighter the wheel, the less power it takes to turn it. Also smaller wheels will give you better low end acceleration which would be better for AutoX
