    Tein coilovers/springs

Has anyone heard or seen opinions on these springs and coilovers? I have seen a lot of advertisement in Import Tuner for them and I am planning on getting coilovers sometime in the near future so I was wondering if anyone has any input on them. If not I would like opinions on what I know fits like the GC's and Skunk. thanks for any and all input.

hey thanks a lot guys for the input. Nice to hear some input on these as I said before, haven't heard much about them. So do you think the Tein's will be used with the KYB's like the GC's. Yeah when I upgrade I'm going for the whole upgrade, shocks and springs this time around. I hope its more like spring for the release though, I plan on showing a handful of times next year and is my main reason for switching to coilovers as apposed to the springs I got. thanks again, keep me posted if you hear any more.

Tein Super Street are Coilovers with their own Dampners inside (shocks). So it's a complete kit. I hope they will be compatible with the electronic dampaning controller. That would be SWEET!

Like 99De said they are full matched coilovers like the JIC setup. But they will be quite a bit better than JIC. The will likely cost around $100-2000. But don't quote me on that seeing as they are still in development.

In other words its a complete setup. Which also means EASY install.

    SS Released probably Jan 2003

Tein Super Street will be the only version available for the Galants for now. Expect the release date to be the beginning of the year, at the earliest, mid-December. Unfortunately, as of today, the SS coilovers are not compatible with EDFC, either due to clearance issues for the stepping motor or compatibility issues, however, this could change next year. These are nowhere near GC/KYB standards. The quality, technology and design of Tein products are much higher, unfortunately, so is the price.

When they release it for the Galants, we should be one of the first to know as we are authorized distributors for Tein USA and I'll update you guys as best I can. http://www.tein.com/dealer/ky.html
