I have been noticing some members have painted there battery housing and a few other places in there engine bay. I want to do the same but I do not know what paint to use. Is it okay to use regular paint or will I have to use high temp paint?

you don't have to use high temp not unless its part of yoru engine like headers or vavle covers but for battery covers or what not nah just use regualer paint just clean it and i would use 400-600 grit sand paper to sand it real good before you paint so it wont chip. just my opinon.
