ok i have a 6th gen galant but you 8th gen have more people and i figured you might be able to help me. ok i have a sohc 4cyl. and i have a buddy who can get me a vr4 engine. we have checked it out and all the brackets look the same and all that and i know i would need a new ECU. but i was wondering if i was leaving anything out. so if you could let me know something of what you think or something like that.

Yeah we've all pretty much agreed unless you're just hellbent on blowing money it's better off to buy the whole car. There's a VR-4 on Ebay right now for about 8k I thinks...quite heavily modded putting down 366 hp to the ground. Be cheaper that way...and more reliable.
