i'd say 17s.
Got my prokit springs for my 7g and now looking to order rims. Car is staying fwd but will be 4g63t in a couple of months. What would you guys recomend? looking for a size that would provide good handling and looks when combined with good rubber. 17 = better sidewall for traction or 18 = heavyer rim which might help keep tires from spinning so which rim size rims? Btw what offset and tire size would be good for my g so it wouldn't rub with the drop.

Man go with the 18's. eversince the 22 and 24 inch rims came about it make 17's look like 14's. b4 i bought my 17's , i asked around too. people told me the same stuff people are teling u (potholes and stuff). so i bought them & it was cool at first but a time went on i notice how big 18s looked compared too 17. also every time i read Super Street or Import Tuner Magazine all the feature cars had 18s. and true they were mainly show cars i want to enter shows too. and in some cases u get more points depending on the brand and size of ur wheel. after that i was trying so hard to come up with money to buy some 18s. So my point is 17s are look very tiny and ur gonna regret getting those small as wheels. i have so 18 ADR M-sport on the pro kit (7g) and i cool. oh yeah if u get 18s and lower it that still at least an inch of ground clearance u gain over 17s. so...go with 8 teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeens
Go for the 18'' fills more space.
Nobody built like u, u desighn ur self.

how so? if you are using hte proper tire size. no matter what size you're using wheather it be 14's or 18's the overall height/circumference of the wheel/tire combo should be the sameOriginally Posted by Predat-R

I say 18". I love having 18" on my 7g
Your offset should be around the same as the 8g I think, around +45. As far as the tires you can go with 215/35-18, 215/40-18, 225/35-18

IMO 17s look best. You see the new "trend" with the honda guys? 15s, 16s, 17s, hard to find a clean Honda nowadays with big wheels. They finally realise that the big wheels take away what little torque they originally had haha.
7g for life!
I have 18" on my 8G but I wish I had 20"
