Its pretty easy the hardest thing is actually picking a spot to drill the ballasts and hide the wires. Way easier than installing a system. Have fun

ericbla, what type of projectors do you use for your retro's? i am interested in retrofitting and have done a lot of research on hidplanet.com, and i want to know what type of projector you personally use and ones that you favor.
Is this a good HID kit?
eBay Link
Is it really plug and play?

its easy to install yourself, is ebay the best place? maybee... definatelly the cheapest route
thats way too much for a brand u havent heard of....search up PILOT HID KIT and those are cheaper and they are really good, they also offer 1 yr warranty and the installation is easy, there are 3 wires on each ballast and all are easy to connect

I see a whole bunch, but wonder if any of those will do.
eBay
if you have USDM headlights on a '99-'03 galant, then you need H4; you can use something else but the results will probably suck since the light source (arc) has to be in the exact same place as the filament was in the halogen bulb, inside the housing. also i would look into bi-xenon (hi/lo) H4 kits, otherwise you will lose your hi beam functionality. also stay between 4250K and 6000K, if you get anything higher than that you are losing luminosity.Originally Posted by Fractal
