Grille mod

Planning to modify the grille and I have a couple of options...

1. Cut slats and put mesh in place of it.
2. Paint the slats black.
3. GTZ Sterling silver color matched grille (will the dealer have it OTC by any chance?)

and is it normal for the bulbs in the cluster to fade if they were diffeent color. I installed blue cluster lights and i got in the car last night and the lights were white again. are there bulbs i can use that wont fade??

i'd just paint the internals black.. or put in mesh then paint it black
