    Whoa that’s outta my league! But the firewall is the strongest part of any car. If that cant take the stress than our cars would be deathtraps. Anyway I’m sure it wouldn’t damage it and it would be better than not bolting it to the firewall. But if its gonna cost $500 I can live with whats on the market.

    so lets say you had this strut bar made that attatches to the firewall. how would one attach it>? just a simple bracket that you bolt on? will that be sufficient? you can of course weld it on, but then you'd have to take off the dash unless you want to risk melting that as you weld. and lets say you did that, how are you going to prevent rust from forming, thus possibly weakening the firewall bracket and thus rendering that mouting point as useless
