Well I am about to order and HID kit for my VR-G fogs.

    They run H3 bulbs.

Now im not familiar with how HID fogs run

I have seen some images of H3 HID bulbs as this:

Now that size HID bulb will NOT fit in my Fogs.

BUT I have heard of H3C bulbs which are suppse to be the same as H3, shorter in length, made for Fog applications...(but I read of it online with no images)

I have never seen one, and my distributor for McChulloh does not have H3C bulbs....

So im scared to just order either bulb and find out that it wont fit...

    Help me guys.....

    Update: Triggermauve sent me this...

Are those on the right H3C bulbs?

... I personally wouldnt buy that chopped up one that is showin in that add.... most likly they wont last long... it seems very bootleg and cheaply made...

you should just get some 100watt halogens they will be just as bright as hids in your fog lights...

Quick question your fogs are projectors right.. if so do they have a cut off or not?

show me pics of the fogs...

true, well it is really for looks. i have McCulloh H7 6k on my heads. I found a GB for Klight HIDs any size and K for $165.00 shipped. So I jumped on it (im getting 6k for the fogs to match...PIMP)
The images are just for reference, they are not the actual image. The ones im getting are 1 year warrenty and the guy doing the GB is in SoCal, so I will be picking them up and who/where to go to if they crap out fast...

the h3 has a logitudinal arc and is longer whereas the h3c has a transvers arc and is shorter. the original h3 halogen bulb has a transverse arc so the h3c should give better light source position than the h3 in an HID conversion application since it better mimics the halogen bulb's filament position. i went w/ h3 but i may be changing capsules to h3c in the future... none of this matters tho if the h3 capsule won't physically fit in your housing; in that case u NEED to get the h3c capsule.
