-My girls 8g has 65,000+ miles on the original tranny. No issues with her tranny other than a random 2nd gear "shudder" every now and then. Other than 2nd gear...the rest of the other gears shift milky smooth.
-125,000+ miles on my 7g and didn't have one single problem with the tranny at all.
-I had my tranny FULLY rebuilt with all the bells and whistles from TRE about 3,000 miles ago. No issues..and it shouldn't, its pretty much bulletproof...only a DSM Dogmission would be stronger.

2000 LS, 81,000 miles. Past two years she's had lots of city driving with a 1000+ mile road trip about once a year. Loaded the car to capacity and drove her balls to the wall from Daytona Beach to Denver once too. Before that she was a to-and-from-work car for a guy who owned a shop in Boca and took his crotch-rocket everywhere else. Before that she was a company car for some small business. Not having any problems.
Aight get ready for a good laugh... My original auto tranny went out around 93,000 the second auto i put in went out around 160,000 and then I did a manual swap around 170,000, so my auto wouldn't leave me broken down somewhere like the first two did before :(
Yeah I'm chunking out the second at 67k. Blue Ice said He's gone through several.

At 52,200ish the torque converter supposedly started to deteriorate and sent metal shavings throughout the tranny. Pulled out from a stop sign and it didnt shift between 2nd and 3rd and revved upto about 6k so i let off and it engaged. Stopped at the next stop sign and it lurched forward and wouldnt go, it only had reverse.
Light em up.
