finailly i bought an evo head, i got my rods, 550cc injectors, pistons (9.1), 272 cams, cam gears, ported big 16g and im doing 3 inch exhaust, and the 255 fuel pump, tuned with the tatrix cable. the 5 speed swap is happing this weekend and the act 2100 only goes to 320 horsepower. so December 8 -22 ill be in atlanta geting everything installed. so i hope to be in the 12's after all this work.

Make sure the shop that your using has done this type of headswap before. You need to make sure they properly degree the cams and then properly retard the cam gears. If you need any more info about this part of the swap, pm me.

the head was 900 with no valve cover. Im going to use the kia optima valve cover to keep it a semi sleeper and save money (160 for kia valve cover and 300 for evo). i also go the intake manifold 550cc injectors and fuel rail for 250.

Due to money issues i can't go to atlanta but i did get the evo head with fadnza cam gears, evo intake maifold complete with fuel rain, injectors, and pressure regulater. i also got the evo 3 big 16g, turbo xs bov, evo 3 exhaust manifold and the taxtrix cable. so i jsut need some time to get money together to get my motor built. ill keep yall posted.

What kind of performance gains can you expect from this... i mean... this vs turbo on stock 2.4l setup.. which setup would be more pratical and cost efficent....
