plz write back asap
you could use film or spray....me personally, i just went with spraypaint and held it bak bout 8-10in so light coats would be applied...........film comes off easily(inspection)..think you can find that on ebay

I really wanna know if is legal or not ?? can anyone ??
I got a ticket for mine, FL law says that red light has to be visible from 1000ft. I'm actually taking my ticket to court mid-November. My tails are pretty much black and dull, but you can see the light when I brake. I'm actually going to put some more clear coat on them within the next two weeks.

Maybe if you throw some bright LED replacement bulbs in your tails then you could have a case to argue :twisted:Originally Posted by Divinity
lol, I already have really bright bulbs in there. The leds only show a spot and don't light up the whole area. I really don't have the money to buy the 360 degree bulbs that are like $20 each just to try them out to see if they work. He pretty much pulled me over because my tails look completely black. Which they are. When he saw me brake, he was already right behind me, not 1000ft away. The FL law says nothing about how light or dark tint or coverings are on lights, just that red light has to be visible. It's a tricky law, lol, but I'm going to take my chances. I haven't been bothered since.
