Anyone know where I could find oem 7g plugs with a 1 or 2 stage colder heat range? Having problems finding the best plug. I am using Ngk iradiums at the moment cause that is all I can find but they are too expensive to keep replacing.

looks like the item number for the NGK's in that trim is 2756.
that "might" be the number to go by if you go to advance looking for one step colder plugs.
if you click the cross reference button.... it looks like its a common plug.
one of the applications is for the 3/s vr4, and even the 8g v6....

Thanx for the info.....so do you think I'll be fine with 1 stage colder or do you think I should opt for 2 stage colder. Mods are 14b @ 10 psi, A/F 11.5.1 93 oct. Gap is also .30 for that amout of boost.Originally Posted by DOHCstunr

i think you would be fine with one stage colder. then you are in the same heat range as a stock turbo plug.
when i go from bpr6es on my 4g63t to bpr7es's
i end up fouling them in a few weeks cause of short trip driving.
as you probably know,
colder pllugs take longer to reach operating temperature (where they are self cleaning)
you might get a set of 2+ colder for track days or something,
but unless you boost all day everyday i and are driving constantly, i woudl stick with the one step colder.

Has anyone used Autolite or Champion spark plugs? I have both out in my garage brand new not opened for my car and didnt know which ones i should drop in. And yes it would be better to switch my plugs i pulled one out and it was really bad i thought bout cleaning them and checking the gap but i already have these and i'm just want to drop these in. I had Bosch but i sold those along time ago. Also anysuggestions on a o2 sensor?
i had champions.. get's burnt fast.. and it was slighty longer than ngks..
Allright guess ill drop in the autolites and see how they go i have copper cores and pro series. im goin to drop in the coppercores first
whats the diff erence in price between some autolite and ngk? liek 40 cents per plug?
NGK or DENSO ftw

Reason i was using autolite is because i have a box of 100 AP3924 that i got for free!! so i was using those because i got assorted platinum, platinum pro, and copper core. I put in the platinum and i can feel it pick up a little bit more and saveing about 3 mpg. Of course i found out that the guy before had put bosch in there and they were really fowled up. Goin to get a magnifying glass and look at the ground and see if there's any problems. I think theres a timing problem cause i got the little balls on the insulator that looks like aluminum balls.
