you need the jdm headlights for it to fit right without the gap. as for fitment, if theres no clips to hook it on, you might have to drill some holes and zip tie them to the car to hold it.

you didnt read about the JDM grill being shorter? well yes it is so in order to fit everything, you need some JDM Headlights. i think you are going to have to drill holes too to get it to fit. i thought the original JDM grills came with clipping points?

looks like somone made a booboo... what i did was i drilled little holes in the top of the grill.... there are three little clips still in youre radiator support where the stock grill used to clip into.... there are three of them that i can see from the pic... They are the black plastic peices.. they are in the square cut-outs in the radiator support.. take them out and use wire tie to hold the grille on... drill 3 holes in the top of the grille to run the wire tie through the grill then through the holes in the radiator support... that should give you a temporary install

well im not in that big of a rush to get the thing on there so i guess ill just order some headlights and sit back and think about ways to attach the grille once i get the headlights..

one more thing, isnt it shorter too?
will i have to get a jdm bumper too?

for the headlights you dont need a JDM bumper. and JDM headlights are about $250 a pair...

also you might have to cut radiator bracket for the headlight to sit in.. but there had been problems about the heads flushing even without sticking out.. it all depends how nifty you get.. but good luck..

if you want jdm heads keep in mind that the way to tell is they have 2 reflector housings one for the high beam and 1 for the low beam

lesson learned, you should search TGC before buying stuff. We also have trusted vendors for REAL JDM parts so get off ebay :D

As far as mounting the grill: on the top, you can cut off the mounting points from your old grill, flip them over, and mount them to your new one in the right spots

that's a good price if you only pay 99 cents for the headlights themselves... so all you end up paying is 251...

  17. #17
yea i know but if i can get them new for 250 from a trusted source i would rather do that

i think im gunna get them from rapid customs for 275.
