Well i bought my galant with the tranny not wanting to shift well. and O/D was in and out. Well at 150,000 miles and the owner telling me it will need a tranny i knew it was hard to believe knowing trannys go out in theses... i traded my computer for it my desktop because he wanted 850 because he didn't want to replace it and if he had too wanted 2,400 for it so basically i walked away with it right?
Pan bolt size are 10MM and the Filter are 8MM-9MM
Step one: Drain the fuild
Step two: take the pan off and check the filter
Step three Replace the filter
Step four: put pan back on with the gasket it comes with and SILCONE it will LEAK if not
Step five: fill it up with 6QTS and LUCAS SLIP FIX half the bottle! it stops hards shifting and renews the bands. i can stand proud and say this stuff Really works i have stuck it in my wifes scubby the tranny Would not go into 3rd and Reverse and Bam drove it hard for about 10 mins every gear went well! so if you guy's are having problems this could Really help!
