    motor mounts..

are motor mounts in any way related to clunking noise when accelerating or braking? reason I ask is because a mitsu dealer online http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3988726&rd=1,1 claims it corrects it and i have 84k and I have a clunking noise and im thinking its the dust shield hitting the rotor*check my post in 8g car probs snapped bolt*

many times if you just look at the mount you can see if they are bad. if the mounts are bad you will see that the rubber in the mount is torn or even separated from the rest of the mount.

my rear mount was the worst out of all of them. it was missing ALOT of the rubber inside it. it was vibrating really bad in drive and when you took off from a stop

2011 Camry- 202 miles- just picked up 9/10/10
    2008 Pontiac G6- 26,065 miles- traded in
1999 Galant ES- 91,846 miles- long gone
