    is this normal?

    sorry for the really crappy pic but im just wondering if where the needle is on the rpm guage is at the right place? i took this pic while stoped at a red light and its the same way if im parked some where and just idling

    Thats bout the same idle as mine at least when my tach does work.

    yeah thats normal. If you have a short ram or cai then its normal, because it will usually sit higher at idle if the car has the stock intake systm. Dont really know why tho

    it depends on a lot of things,
    but anywhere between 700 and 1000 is where mine normally is

    yeah mine sits around 7-900. I have a short ram...but thats where it sits anyways if I remember correctly

    mine is anywhere from 600-1000

    stock idle is 750 rpm +/- 100 rpm so your fine

    yes looks normal, i still can't get my tach to work,since i've put teh microtech, i started a threat about the rpm signal wire, i was told it was a white one but, i put that wire on the microtech but nothing

    just solder a wire to the tach pulse solder pad on the back of your gauge cluster, its well marked, hard to miss

    Man looked at my tach today and was idling at 2k! Cause every time i took my foot off the gas the car would acclerate to 20 and would drop real bad when brake was pressed. Found out that a guy who was replacing my tb for me while i did some stuff on his car took the cable wire and used the plate on the back of the intake and pulled it all the way tight cause he though it was loose!
