Looks normal.
7g for life!
Thats bout the same idle as mine at least when my tach does work.
yeah thats normal. If you have a short ram or cai then its normal, because it will usually sit higher at idle if the car has the stock intake systm. Dont really know why tho
7G SOHC 5SPD
whats the normal idle rpm anyway? and i dont have a cai or anything like that
mitsumitsu aka luke9511
it depends on a lot of things,
but anywhere between 700 and 1000 is where mine normally is
yeah mine sits around 7-900. I have a short ram...but thats where it sits anyways if I remember correctly
"Why fart and waste it when you can burp and taste it!"
mine is anywhere from 600-1000
Light em up.
stock idle is 750 rpm +/- 100 rpm so your fine
You are fine..that is normal idle range. 8)

yes looks normal, i still can't get my tach to work, since i've put teh microtech, i started a threat about the rpm signal wire, i was told it was a white one but, i put that wire on the microtech but nothing
just solder a wire to the tach pulse solder pad on the back of your gauge cluster, its well marked, hard to miss
did that already, doesn't work
Man looked at my tach today and was idling at 2k! Cause every time i took my foot off the gas the car would acclerate to 20 and would drop real bad when brake was pressed. Found out that a guy who was replacing my tb for me while i did some stuff on his car took the cable wire and used the plate on the back of the intake and pulled it all the way tight cause he though it was loose!
