    2nd gen JDM tails

    im going to get them tinted. debating, should i tint just the red and leave the clear strip at the bottom, or tint the whole thing?

    you mean tint them black? if i was going to do anything to the JDM tails, ill add amber to the white stripe at the bottom. that will look good IMO...

    i say just tint the bottom (from the inside)

    Assuming the car is black, the whole tint thing would work. Leaving the clear would also be acceptable you have chrome trims. You can also tint the clear and leave the rest red.

    I like pinoyesv6's tinted clear tails... I think I want to do that... what did you use to tint the white strip? tint, paint?

    well i dropped them off at Jon's tinted tails (tintedtails.com) last night. ill post pictures when they are on the car. i think im going to like the option i picked

    i had to shrink the film with a heat gun to conform with the compound curves of the tail.
