Get the Evo ECU instead of the Emanage. No reason in the world to get an emanage.
Also remeber to get the ECUFlash cable.
You will also need the oil lines for the turbo (if they don't come with it already).
As well as a resistor pack.
DO NOT purchase worm clamps. Spend $22 (s&h included) and buy 12 T-bolt clamps here: Link
Have you thought about Alky injection? It will make your setup considerably more bulletproof (no one likes a blown engine).
Other than that you look like you have an EXCELLENT setup. I can't wait to see it up and running. I bet with proper tuning you will be able to run well over 15 psi (timing control is KEY!!!!).
BTW Will you run into any issues with the orientation of the turbo, and the starter?
use your stock dipstick,
the evo one will be shorter and give you a false reading

will the Evo IC pipes even work?
do you still have the auto trans? if so how do you plan on using the evo ecu? there is away to use both, the stock ecu for trans control and the evo ecu for engine control... but is that something you are comfortable with doing?

depends on the manifold i choose. with the evo8 mani and couple of spacers, i should be able to clear the starter.BTW Will you run into any issues with the orientation of the turbo, and the starter?
i still have the auto trans. i was planning on using both the evo ecu and my stock one. im still reading about it on open ecu, but flashblue on club3g would also be able to helpOriginally Posted by underated
Definately one to watch. Quz is flying under the radar with his build ups. First the exterior now the motor. 8)Originally Posted by 4g63lover
u will need to fab some of the hot side ic piping because it wont fit well... for the evo ic piping i mean.. u need a evo to whatever flange for the bov too.. u can use the 1g bov flange and convert it for the greddy flange.. looking good..

Aaron, I have a bunch of stuff for sale that you might want. Including A set of Autometer white face gauges, Boost (mechanical), Oil Temp, AFR and Coolant temp (electric w/sending unit) and a Greddy EGT. Hit me up.

i hear good things about the zeitronix. its a wideband afr, boost and egt meter and datalogging. what other gaugues do you suggest I run into my cabin. i was gonna put 3 gauges into the 1DIN in the center console. i was thinking oil pressure, oil temp, and another boost gauge?
They are all 52mm gaugesOriginally Posted by qnz

wouldnt there be a problem with the timing belt the same way the 7g had with the headswap? the 4g63 timing belt was an issue and they had to use the 4g64DOHC timing belt for the GS....just wondering if that would be an issue?
No issues at all. The EVO guys are using their stock T-belts with no problems, or you can use the 94 GS belt, either way it works. The thing is, you need at least one adjustable cam gear. The adjustment is not really to retard the timing, you mechanically time the cam itself so its in time at TDC on #1, then when you swing the belt over the gear, you will notice that it wont fall into the grooves correctly, at that point, loosen the gear, hold the cam steady and spin the gear counter clockwise to take up the slack. In the end, the gears should read between -6 and -8 total for both. So if you decided to use 2 adjustable gears, as long as adding the #'s together equalled between -6 and -8 you should be on the money.Originally Posted by Qnzfinestplaya
