went on a trip with the creeper under my car.

I was under the G today you know, just looking at things. making sure eveything is alright. I was wondering though, where is the main vacuum line located. I looked and looked and Im stuck on about where it is. another thing. i noticed that there is a cross member type thing in the way of the tranny, will this need to be taken off to do the five-speed swap?

The crossmember that runs front to back has to come out, but not the big one that runs side to side. Also what type of vacuum line are you looking for? The only lines your gonna find under the car are the 3 fuel lines and the brake lines/ All the vacuum lines are under the hood more near the top.

Nope. There isnt a vacuum distribution block. If your looking for a vacuum source to tap into for a gauge or something, you need to just run a T fitting off an existing line.

Well in that case, what you might want to do is buy a vacuum distribution block. Golden Eagle sells a really nice one, its not cheap, but its a high quality piece. You can mount it to the top of the intake manifold or the bottom of a STB and I think it has 6 vacuum ports on it.
