    Brighter reverse lights?

A few weeks ago I was in a parking lot and noticed a Tahoe backing up, well it had euros or some aftermarket tails on and the reverse lights were BRIGHT!! Which brings me to my question, is there a brighter bulb for our cars?

there is a 50watt reverse bulb in 1156, i have them in my JDM's. they are at least 2x as bright as the regular halogen 1156 bulbs. i found them at pepboys, but they were on the bottom shelf away from the regular bulbs. let me see if i can find them on the web...

    here, these look like them:

note: they run REALLY hot but then again, how long do you keep ur reverse lights on for?

nope, the ones i mentioned are brighter than LED's. i bought a 45-LED bulb to put in my reverse (since all my tail bulbs are now LED) and it only put out as much light as a regular 1156 clear bulb (although it had a better color white and appeared brighter when looked at directly).

the 50 watt halogens won in light output hands down.
