    bringing camber back (yeah)

for some reason, i miss the way my car used to look with a -2 camber.
and now that i have a 45 series tire, i rub on big dips in the road. ive rolled my fenders a little but im thinking of adding some camber also.
    what do u guys think?

camber eats tires more than almost anything else. i didn't correct my rear camber untill i got the 19's put on... so i've had to buy at least 6 full sets of 18's up until that point. do the math.

here's my camber back in the day:

only for sitting still slammed on bags tho. once u raise up to drive, the camber dissappears.

amen. thats what i want. but i think when i raise it, it will be -1 still. I plan to get Megan Coils and bags slipped over them so I can have a hybrid....

Hmm while on the topic, I will be replacing my bushings, and my struts, I am NOT lowering my car, I found a site that sells KYB strut cartridges with the strut for $55 a piece. Since it would all be OE, would I still have to get a camber kit?

camber kits were made for cars with bad camber. it doesn't matter if you have your car lowered or not, aftermarket or oe. if you have bad camber might want to consider getting a camber kit.

Negative camber is only good if your drifting. I doubt our cars would be good at drifting, unless you put a rear wheel drive/5 speed swap. So if you want to go back to a negative camber, I would save some money every 6 months for tires.

You want camber in road racing or autocross as well, camber does a whole different thing in drifting. I need some camber as to wear my tires evenly. If anyone has some they dont want, feel free to package it up and send it to me.

    Nitto Neogens FTW!

Falken 512's are also a pretty good tire for cars with negative camber.

they also have a new V.I.P. tire out, not sure what the model is though.
