question about amss V6 headers, someone who has please look

does anyone have a how to tutorial on installing these, its the whole system headers downpipe and high flow cat.. any special tools needed, any info what so ever that could help this go smooth. i would imagine that i have to buy my own gaskets for the new headers since they didnt come with new ones.

special tools. uhm off the top of my head, im thinking a couple bottles of wd40 or some other kinda penetrating oil to get the hold system off. and a socket for the o2 sensor. i believe u also gotta extend the wires for the 02 sensor. haven't done the mod myself so can't help u with any of the details,

I've got the headers on the V6. The headers from RPW DO come with the gaskets and the bolts. If you have a Cali spec, you will be removing your two precats and replacing them with the headers. The front set is easy, the rears are a bitch. You'll need to get an O2 sensor wrench. Autozone will let you borrow one or you can buy your own. Removing the O2 sensors will be tough. Be sure to spray them well with penetrating oil to loosen them up. If you're not buying a high flow cat, you'll need to cut your cat and weld a flange on to the end of it to meet up with the dump pipe. The dump pipe will use the stock hangers. The RPW headers come pre-drilled for the O2 sensors. You'll need to extend the rear header by about 20 inches to get it in the right spot.

I prototyped the RPW headers so I'm real familiar with the installation. Since then, RPW has changed the design to counter the mods I had to make to make the headers fit. So the installation is actually a lot cleaner now. PM me if you have any questions. I would recommend, unless you have access to a lift and a TIG welder that you have it done by a professional. I'd consider it to be a large step beyond a weekend DIY mod.
