just buy some varad LEDs or something off eBay...should run you $5 a pop. they are simple to wire, 1 power, 1 ground. hook up the power to a switch if youd like. same as wiring neons and put out a lot of light for how small they are
ok i want to put some LEDs under my dash instead of using neon bars can some one tell me how to make the LEDs because i think i know what to do but i just what to know exactly how to get the LEDs and how to hook up the wire if someone could tell me how it would be greatly apriciated

7g for life!
that was exactly what i was thinking but how would i hook them up ive never wired leds together ive only got ones that were already put together such as washer LEDs
Damn that a good idea. I never even thought of that. It's a lot cheaper than getting the neon lights too.
hyper LED's would work fine. they are small too. on small problem. LED's don't disperse light good. if ur gonna want an even beam, ur gonna need some kinda reflector to even it out. if u don't ur gonna get spotting. bright spots exactly under the beam and then it gets dimmer and dimmer the farther u go.
Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.
If you want to use radio shack LED's then that's an even cheaper route and you can get them anyday you want without worrying about the shipping costs and turn around times.
For every LED you use with a 12 volt source you must put (2) 220 ohm resistors on it. I believe the color code for it is Red, Red, Black and then either a silver or gold stripe because the 4th stripe just tells you the efficiency if it's within 5 or 10 % of the 220 ohm resistance.
Twist the resistors together in parallel and put it inline with the positive side of the LED. (THIS IS THE SAME METHOD USED FOR ANGEL EYES)
