if you can get the right offset, width and tire to fit under the wheel wells, it shouldn't hurt anything except the feelings of everyone that sees it.
Will having 22's on the 8g mess up the transmission? or anything else? im thinkin about doin it, but i dont wanna mess up the car, any help would be appreciated. thankss.
it will put more stress on your axles, it will cause your transmission to run hotter in heavy traffic, it will put much more stress on your brakes, and it will cause your suspension to be severely overworked.
not to mention it will look completely stupid and trashy.

I've seen it done before.... I would do it on a 6 cyclinder... and I would upgrade the brakes
you should put a 3" truck life on it and throw those 22s on lol
but yea ive seen it, looked stupid the way they did it, bright green car with bright green and silver 22's, just make it blend and i bet it would look awesome
jk to the 3" lift
i saw it on a 3g at the TGC meet... looked like 20's
