good job, how longed it take you?
May I ask what good it does to swap the rear to disc brakes? I thought the front brakes are used to stop the car?

They are both used to stop the carOriginally Posted by Distort
the front is 70% of the braking, the rear is 30%
Therefor you will stop better with 4 wheel discs
I wish I was down this past weekend to help out guys. ATL did tell me he was about to do the swap the other day when I talked to him. What car did you use as a donor to do the swap? Y'all keep getting your hands dirty, cause I might need your help doing the same swap if I get this '99 that I see in the paper for $900. It says it "only needs some engine work". So between all of use, I'll bet I can get that bad boy rolling. It would be great to have 2 8G's at the house along with the 7G. Y'all know I got enough parts for 2 Galants anyway.
nice!
Not how fast your car goes but how good u drive going fast.

You also lower the chance of locking up your front breaks. If you don't adjust or have your drums adjusted around every 3 months your breaking might be 100% front/0% back. People drive crazy in Atlanta and it took nothing to lock up my front breaks not long after the drums were serviced. Now that I have done the swap I have not locked up the breaks since, and I had to break really hard the other day when a crazy person jumped across 3 lanes I was able to stop fest and not lock up my breaks and loose control.Originally Posted by frag_daddy_2007
