Guys if you dont want to spend a ton of money, I suggest going on craigslist. Since NY is the fashion capital of the world, there are tons a deals from photographers looking to upgrade their gear and selling their used stuff for good price. Thats where I bought my 10d

    20d for $450

Just got my Opteka battery grip. Walked around walmart with the kit lens, must say its much more comfy, I like the bulk. Im thinking about trading in the Sigma 70-300mm I got for a Sigma 18-200mm, then sell the kit lens and pick up a Sigma 10-20mm. Hmmm. I need a flash too arg.

The more I research things, the more I want to get rid of the kit lens for a Sigma 18-200mm as a walkaround lens, and pick up the Sigma 10-22mm as well. Might grab a Sunpak 383 or Sigma EF-500 flash next week, Ive really been wanting to use a bounce flash!

Took these today, used all 3 of my lenses.

    5. Not a good pic, but pissed me off. First time using the Sigma 70-300mm outdoors and theres a tree full of bald eagles. Couldnt get close enough to use the Sigma at anything but 300mm and Ive learned that its OOF unless you have a tripod. Going to get a monopod tomorrow and go search for some more eagles haha.

Man a 4.5mm would be cool for only a few scenarios, skateboarding/extreme sports mainly. Seems like there would be too much barrel distortion for a lot of things. I really want a Sigma 10-22mm though. Mail me yours so I can borrow it for a bit :D

Went out for about 30min and shot around. The eagles were in the same tree except for this one. The one with all the eagles is inside the coast gaurd fence which is all blocked off. I went to Walmart and was planning on buying a monopod, but they were $18 and looked cheap. I can get one from BH for the same price and better quality. I need to order some UV filters anyway to protect my lenses.

    nice.

4.5mm would be used for 360 panorama shots which i will be using alot for virtual tours which will only take me a few pics to stitch. hehe
