A Couple Of Problems....

1996 mitsubishi galant S, 5 spd manual

1st) i've had the car since december, i bought it this way and he told me, but when i turn the key, it makes a click noise and doesnt attempt to start...after a few more times it will eventually turn on..don't know what it is

2nd) the key is turning over but will not start..what could the problem be?

thanks, it turned out to be the distributor..hopefully i get it back today so i can get some pics up
