    steering problem

One day I'm driving my car fine. Next day I try to pull off and turn the wheel and the steering is really tight. I mean I can barely turn the wheel. I didn't get a warning of any steering problems. It just happened. Checked the power steering fluid and it was good to go. Has this happened to anyone else?

No! The steering pump is driven by a belt that also runs your AC. If that breaks, it will feel like you have no power steering.

Oh ok that makes sense. Because my AC hasn't been kicking lately. So what's a rough estimate on getting that replaced?

New belt, probably like 20 to 40 bucks, depending on the brand. Did you check??
