Alternator Dead

Dear TGC,

So yeah tonight while looking for parking in my neighborhood, I noticed the voltage of my car dropping thanks to my freshly installed capacitor (much thanks to my boy Naz A.K.A. 01Galant01). So my 1st instinct is to pull over, double parked might I add, and turn the car off, which I now know is exactly what I shouldn't do if that ever happens again. I then attempt to start the car, to no avail. The battery is dead, and apparently that's what the car was running off of. So I call AAA. Well first I call like 6 different people I know, then I call AAA when I realized none of them are able to help me in this particular situation at this particular time. Exactly 1 hour and 23 minutes later, AAA arives with a flatbed truck and a driver who looked no older than twenty, and whisk my car away. And here I am about 12 minutes later posting here.

Point is, one day Denver and I are supposed to go alternator hunting, just hoping that happens soon before the shop begins to charge me for storage and/or labor. If anyone in the Metro NYC area knows of any places, junk yards etc. let me know, cuz I need to know ASAP.

just buy a new alternator... why pay labor on a old part... that can just fail because its used

You know i have all the parts you need, holla at me if you really need a new one but im sure i have a used one thats still good you can use in the mean time I mean if you want it
