You guys are so lucky to live in states without emissiions. That's what stopped me from starting on this when I first heard about it a few years ago and the lack of a second vehicle.

My state has emissions testing too, thats why you gotta drop some extra cash in the pocket of the guy testing your car, or straight up put your plates and registration on another 8g and have it tested (if the shop has a camera on the car, you need to do this). My car hasnt passed a legit inspection in 5 years.

once u start doing performance mods that would effect emmision u better know someone that can get u that sticker for few bucks

here, no...they scan the registration sticker and use teh obd2 port...if no codes come up you pass....they are supposed to do a "visual" etc as well but most shops usually dont care as long as you dont have any codes

It was off the road for winter voluntarily while I switched IC pipes and my exhaust manifold setup.

Just wait til we're doing yours next year....
