Hey has anyone tried to cut the Energy Suspension Bushings in half for an easier install? I am thinking about trying it. Since they are about $50 dollars cheaper and you can re lube them if needed.

Also is it true the the Prothane bushings ar a lot firmer?

i wouldn't recomend cutting them, they need to be pressed in for a reason. prothane bushings are a lot firmer, almost rock hard.

I had the Energy ones cut, and I had no problem for year and a half. I just replaced them cuz Prothane has bushings for the rear lower control arm and toe arm
God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.

Did you notice a difference between the Energy and the Prothane? I am slightly leaning toward the Prothane due to ease of install.
