Go stock Are you looking for a true muffler or a "muffler" muffler? A true muffler naturally will flow less effectively because it has baffling chambers, while a resonator is of course louder and more free flowing (thus what you have right now). You will usually never hear someone in the industry actually call their "straight through mufflers" a muffler, only when advertising

I'd suggest the Bosal Prosport. It's the one I have with my headers, and everyone that's heard it can't believe how quiet it is, yet it still gives that deep throaty tone we all want. It's also considerably cheaper than most other mufflers. Like Less than $100 and it's all T304 stainless. http://www.olyonline.com has the best price so far.

another tip when purchasing a muffler is to look at the design. to see its muffling capabilities. for example, in general, an oval muffler would be moer quieter to a comparable canister muffler, since the oval muffler would have more room for insulation. a longer muffler is gonna quieter than a short muffler, the number of chambers the muffler has etc etc.

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.

I have the Bosal Prosport, I installed it in place of my perfectly good Magnaflow Street series thinking it would be quieter, it's not. It's just as loud as the Magnaflow, if not louder. It does quiet down a little after the car has been on for at least 20 minutes or so, but my daily commute is only 10 minutes long.
