    7G water pump :)

    - after CAREFULLY SEARCHING the threads in the 7g section, I noticed we don't have anything about this topic. My water pump is leaking from the gasket, probably becuase the coolant has so much acidity built up from never being changed in a bi-metal engine after 110,000 miles that it ate right through the gasket and is currently eating through other aluminum parts such as the cylinder head...uh anyway has anyone changed theirs? lets all pool our ideas into this thread. Becuase Im currently staring at it and thinking I might have to remove my power steering and alternator just to get the damn thing out of the engine bay.
    141,000 miles.

    6 dents.

    Yellowed, cloudy headlights.

    spraypaint on the door panels.

Its not hard to swap out at all. Cant remember if you have to take off one of the bolts for the timing belt auto tensioner arms or not. Its one of those jobs, you have to take so much apart, you may as well change out the t-belt and pulleys while you are at it.
