hey guys, any help for a broken galant?

hello all. i was formerly on this site back when it was in its original ubb format. havent been around for a while, but im happy to be back.

now, on to the reason for this topic,

i recently was in an accident in my 01 esv6. the front in is pretty badly banged up, almost 7k in damages. the engine and powertrain are all ok though, with the exception fo an alternator and radiator and serpentine belt. well, i figured that i would tryo to save some money on the repairs and put it into a forced induction system (dont know exactly what yet). i was wondering if you guys have any info on where i can get some replacement parts for les than what they wanna charge me for oem (227 for a headlight? yeah right) any and all help on this, or the forced induction subject would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

I remember mochanges saying that he had a hood. Also, leicoolya had the front and back bumper covers, as well as a grille. As for headlights, there is this one for an '03,

and there are auctions for '01 headlights on ebay. The alternator and radiator should be available at AutoZone. Also, you might be able to get stuff at the junkyard. Hope this helps!

At that price I'd just go find a 99 or 00 with fairly high miles and buy it! Parts car!

    Check out:

    http://www.autobodypartsonline.com/

I had cracked up my front end pretty good and had to replace my fender, bumper cover and my passanger head lamp assembly. I did it all for under 500.00 -- 700.00 after painting. Pretty good deals.

another tip is to try some aftermarket parts. if you do a search on google, you will find companies that sell aftermarket parts for your car that look like the oem but at like half the price. i'd get them for really non important things like a grille or something. not something important like the crash guard. sometimes these products aren't as good (like strength wise) as the one from mitsubishi and thats y i say just get em for non important things.

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.
