Window Motor....

This past week my driver side window has been acting up, sometimes it wouldn't go down and sometimes it wouldn't go up. Annoying!

The only good part is that anytime that i would get the window to go down but couldn't get it go go back up, it would automatically put itself in the up position. Last night it wouldn't do either, and i could hear it trying to go up and down when i hit the switch, and when i went out to the car this morning the window motor was still making noise. So i took the door panel off and felt the motor, which burned the crap out of my hand, so i just unplugged the thing.

Has anyone replaced the window motor on their car, or since the thing still works could this just be because the switch might have gotten wet?
